Cookie Policy — IoneShop (Shop track)
- Version: 1.2-shop
- Effective date: 2026-08-02
- Controller: ABSGROUP INC., 347 Hudson Bend, Edmonton, Alberta T6V 1R5, Canada, [email protected]
- EU representative (GDPR Art. 27) — mandate formalisation in progress: QData, Spektrum Tower, Twarda 18, 00-105 Warsaw, Poland (https://qdata.pl). Until the mandate is fully formalised, the Controller/Provider remains the contact point: [email protected].
This Policy supplements the [Privacy Policy](/privacy) and applies to the marketing website and Operator applications (it does not replace cookie policies in merchant stores). Enterprise offer: /enterprise/cookies.
Binding language: Polish (this English text is an informative translation; the Polish version governs for the Shop track unless otherwise agreed).
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels and similar identifiers stored on or read from the user’s device.
2. Legal basis
- Essential — GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) and ePrivacy exceptions (service requested by the user / security).
- Analytics / marketing — GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) + national ePrivacy implementing rules (only after consent).
Consent may be withdrawn at any time via the banner / privacy settings / browser data clearing.
3. Categories
| Category | Examples | Consent required? |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Consent preference, UI theme, security, anti-abuse | No |
| Optional functional | UI language memory beyond essential minimum | Yes (if not essential) |
| Analytics | Traffic analytics tools | Yes |
| Marketing | Ad pixels, remarketing | Yes |
4. Consent banner (EU standard)
- Information before non-essential trackers are set.
- “Essential only” choice as easy as accepting all.
- No requirement to accept marketing consent as a condition of access to informational content (we avoid cookie walls).
- Preferences stored locally; can be changed again.
5. Technologies used on the Operator website
| Name / key | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
ecom_cookie_consent_v1 (localStorage) | IoneShop | Consent preference (essential / all) | until changed by user | Essential |
ioneshop_theme (localStorage) | IoneShop | Light / dark theme | until changed by user | Essential |
| Session / security (when logged into panel) | IoneShop / IdP | Authenticated session | session / per IdP | Essential |
Third-party analytics and marketing: currently not enabled on the Operator marketing website. If implemented, this table will be updated before scripts are launched, and trackers will load only after consent.
6. Merchant stores
Each Merchant should implement its own cookie notice and consent mechanism for its storefront (B2C). Platform tools support essential vs marketing — the Merchant configures store trackers.
7. Selected national practices
| Country / authority | Practice |
|---|---|
| FR — CNIL | Reject as easy as accept; proof of consent |
| DE — TTDSG / TDDDG | Consent before non-essential; strict telemedia rules |
| PL — UODO / electronic services law | Consent for non-essential cookies; electronic marketing separately |
| IT / ES | Local Garante / AEPD guidelines |
